Just enjoyed a catfish special, good cooking and low prices, kind people and a quiet place to park, except for my reefer lol! I'll definitely be back!
Passing through and had to make an emergency stop could not have had a better experience. Mr. And Mrs. Newman are the best. They went out if their way to help us find what we needed to get back on the road safely. With the friendly service and good food we will be stopping by again.
Food was great and the staff is wonderful. The hours of operation are good but it opened a little later than the posted time, this mornin. All in all, its a nice place to stop and grab a bite to eat and get what ya need.
Kinda sad! It's one of the few remaining old school truck stops. They are trying to keep afloat but you can tell they are struggling. Very run down but in this economy it's hard to compete with the now popular chains. I hear the restaurant is very good, we didn't eat, just parked for the night. If you stop by and have time try the food
Great food, great service. Mr and Mrs Newman would love to have you. Big parking lot for 18 wheelers. They have two awesome cooks, Ethel (morning)and Dianne (evening). They have plate lunch Monday thru Friday.
